Salary: $4,935.00 – $8,740.00 per month, depending on classification level.

Working Conditions The position is located at 15005th Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County. Employees will work in a climate‑controlled office, may be permitted telework, and may need to travel. Weekend or after‑hours work may be required. The employee must carry a cell phone for after‑hours communication.

Responsibilities

Provide maintenance and support for Caltrans internal and external websites using Drupal and Sitecore CMS.

Publish and maintain web content, troubleshoot content and presentation issues, and coordinate with technical teams and business partners.

Perform day‑to‑day web operations for the Caltrans intranet and internet.

Conduct accessibility reviews for web pages and posted documents in accordance with WCAG and Section 508, document findings, and coordinate remediation.

Support ongoing platform work, including migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10, content updates, issue triage, testing support, and post‑change validation.

Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of the Information Technology Associate exam or eligibility to become eligible for the position.

Experience providing day‑to‑day CMS support (Drupal and/or Sitecore).

Knowledge of WCAG 2.1, ADA, and Section 508 accessibility standards.

Ability to document findings, prioritize issues, and coordinate remediation.

Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) required. Candidates must submit a two‑page, 12‑point Arial, numbered SOQ as specified.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with Sitecore and Drupal CMS platforms.

Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Siteimprove, axe, or WAVE.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to troubleshoot web publishing and formatting issues.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to collaborate with program staff, IT peers, and external partners.

Ability to learn and apply emerging technologies to improve web content management, accessibility compliance, and digital service delivery.
