Subrogation Specialist - Medical Payments (Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Manage incoming calls and handle a designated volume of arbitrations for Medical Payments and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims
Investigate and research losses to determine effective subrogation practices
Negotiate and conclude recovery settlements while ensuring regulatory compliance
Initiate and hear arbitration on disputed liability and damage claims
Determine appropriate recovery methods and handle disputed liability claims
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 3 years of automotive claims liability experience
General or advanced knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations and compliance requirements
Strong customer service and negotiation skills
Proficient analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medical Payments, PIP, or Bodily Injury claims
General understanding of different lines of coverage such as homeowners, auto, and personal property
BA/BS in Business, Insurance, or a related area, or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Active participation in team-building and cultural initiatives
