Senior Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support full-cycle general ledger accounting, multi-entity reporting, state compliance, and audit support. This role will work closely with external auditors and tax providers and play a key role in monthly close and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Own general ledger accounting and monthly close activities, including recurring journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare and maintain work‑in‑progress (WIP) schedules and related journal entries Manage fixed assets and equipment accounting, including depreciation, disposals, and reporting Prepare and review balance sheet and bank reconciliations across multiple entities Support state and local compliance, including annual reports, franchise taxes, sales & use tax filings, and registrations in new states (in coordination with external providers) Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of PBC schedules and responding to auditor requests Support billing, payroll‑related accounting, and daily cash management activities as needed Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience Exposure to multi‑state filings and working with external tax providers Experience supporting audits Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel Nice to Have
