Repairs Safran Helicopter Engines USA family of engines and performs maintenance of engines, subassemblies, and components. Key Responsibilities
Works with hand tools, measuring equipment, balancing and grinding machines to assemble modules and engines. Works with hand tools and cleaning chemicals to disassemble modules for inspection purposes. Uses repair manual and internal documentation to accept or reject individual components in a module. Required on call duty. Develops procedures, identifies problems, recommends solutions, recommends expenditures. Chooses from prescribed methods to fulfill project objectives, with short‑term review by MRO Engine Shop Lead. Assigns and monitors work; trains and coaches assigned Technician I position. Qualifications
Certificate from college or technical school; or six to twelve months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic Level Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel. Mechanical/technical/interpersonal skills adapted to the unique requirements of the organization. Physical Requirements
Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Frequently stand; occasionally walk; sit and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level usually quiet. Security Requirements
This position requires access to information and hardware subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The selected candidate must be a U.S. person or must meet eligibility requirements for access to export‑controlled information and hardware. Seniority Level
