SDWAN Design Engineer
for a
Contract
with a client in
Findlay, OH/San Antonio, TX/Denver, CO . The ideal candidate will design and implement resilient SD-WAN and enterprise network architectures while optimizing performance and scalability.
Rate Range:
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Denver: $54 – $85 / Hr
Texas: $50 – $80 / Hr
Ohio: $51 – $75 / Hr
SDWAN Design Engineer Job Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise WAN and SD-WAN architectures to ensure high availability and scalability.
Optimize network performance and resiliency through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
Lead fault analysis and resolve complex LAN/WAN issues across distributed environments.
Establish and enforce network security policies, access controls, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with network architects to plan upgrades and modernize connectivity solutions.
Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum 7–10 years in enterprise network engineering, with at least 3+ years in SD-WAN design and implementation.
Proven expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and advanced troubleshooting using tools like SolarWinds/Wireshark.
Strong experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and implementing network security policies.

Pay Details:
$50.00 to $80.00 per hour
