Job Title
Fiscal Officer (Administrator III – Franchise Tax Board)
Department Franchise Tax Board
Salary $10,751.00 – $12,813.00 per month
Responsibilities
Oversee accounting standards and practices within the Accounting Section.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws, regulations, and policies.
Track revenue and expenditures and produce accurate financial reports.
Participate in governance bodies, steering committees, enterprise teams, and external workgroups.
Partner with stakeholders to understand fiscal environment, needs, and concerns, and assess potential impacts on the department, programs, and policies.
Minimum Requirements Refer to the Class Specification for the ADMINISTRATOR III FRANCHISE TAX BOARD classification. Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications stated in the specification.
Working Conditions
Eligible for limited remote working within California based on departmental guidelines.
Minimum in-office requirement of two days per week.
Not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without a visa sponsorship or training plan.
