Phlebotomist – Labcorp – Albany, NY
Labcorp is a leading provider of clinical testing and diagnostics solutions. We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist to join either our Patient Service Center or Client office teams. In this role you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional customer service and skilled specimen collections while contributing to continuous growth within the organization.
Pay Range
$17.75 - $22.00 per hour
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Rotating Saturdays

Phlebotomist Incentive Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
Entry of patient data accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Deliver superior customer service to all patients.
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency; prior phlebotomy experience is required.
Demonstrated track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Works well with minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
