Client Services Rep / Window Clerk - IL 1st Shift
We are hiring for a Client Services Representative/Window Clerk. In this position, you will be responsible for customer service on the phone, through email and at the service window. This full‑time hourly position will report to the Warehouse Manager and be primarily responsible for assisting the warehouse staff, customers and truck drivers. The shift is 8:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday‑Friday.
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Answer phones, voicemails and emails in a professional and prompt manner
Have working knowledge of the company and customer computer systems
Accurately and timely enter data as required
Able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks at the same time
Willing to double check orders on warehouse docks
Other duties may be assigned as business needs
Check drivers in and out and know the associated paperwork; maintain the dock door board, manage and accurately utilize the OpenDock application, and enter correct data in Autosig
Work closely with the lead and warehouse employees; communicate via radio
Schedule outbound trucks as needed
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent respectful communication skills with customers and employees
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Self‑motivated and works well with limited direction
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Strong attention to detail
Working understanding of Microsoft Office, WMS, SAP, and Excel
Previous forklift experience is a plus
