Job Overview
We are a busy interpreting service provider in Lincoln, Nebraska, and we need fully bilingual Somali interpreters for in‑person medical interpretation.
Responsibilities
Provide in‑person interpretation to our local clients.
Print and upload vouchers via our online portal.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Attend appointments locally; possess reliable transportation.
Work on a part‑time, PRN basis with flexible hours.
Qualifications
Fully bilingual in Somali and English.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Printing and basic computer skills.
Access to a printer and reliable transportation.
Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
Background check and drug screen required.
Availability Monday‑Friday, 7 AM–5 PM (flexible).
Proof of Vaccination Requirement All interpreter candidates must provide proof of vaccination. Medical or religious exemption documentation will be accepted and handled confidentially.
