This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation. We offer financial relocation assistance. We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to maintain our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. Your role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and seamless operations, supporting our culinary team. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliances Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards Utilize hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and power tools for technical repairs Core Equipment
Refrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines Cooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets Ventilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems About Madison, WI
