HVAC Service Technician

Epic . This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We provide financial relocation assistance and recruit nationally. We're seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to ensure our kitchens and onsite bakeries operate at peak performance. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our 9 million square foot campus. Your work will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections Ensure compliance with OSHA, refrigeration, gas, and electrical safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to resolve technical issues Core Equipment You'll Work On
Refrigeration: Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines Cooking Equipment: Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles, tilt skillets Ventilation & HVAC: Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems Dishwashing & Sanitation: High-capacity dishwashers, automated sanitation systems About Madison
