Home 2 Suites Layton is hiring a part‑time Weekend Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel safe, functional, and guest‑ready while our Chief Maintenance Technician is off.

Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance and timely repairs property‑wide
Diagnosing and supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
Painting, flooring, patching, and general building repairs
Equipment maintenance, installations, and minor construction work
Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and a professional appearance across all areas
Following OSHA safety standards and security protocols
Communicating clearly with guests, vendors, leadership, and team members
Requirements
HVAC experience
Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
Ability to understand work orders, safety procedures, and communicate clearly
Team‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
Customer‑service mindset with attention to detail and safety
Preferred
Hotel or commercial maintenance experience
Schedule Part‑time weekend shift every Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
Location Located near the Layton Hills Mall and the Davis Conference Center in Layton, UT.
