Advertised Job Summary Under general supervision, supports program projects for the School of Medicine‑Columbia South Carolina Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare. Works closely with the Center’s directors and program managers to assure execution of project plans, establish timelines, and monitor milestones, while consistently complying with all policies and regulations.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in a job‑related field (no prior work experience required; may be substituted by equivalent certification, training, education, and/or experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating programs, project management from conception to delivery, preferred in public health, program evaluation, or health care systems.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Experience with computer‑based documentation and communication.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Effective oral and written communication.
Strong ethical conduct and adherence to compliance policies and regulations.
Job Duties
Coordinates Center programs focused on healthcare delivery (mobile units, telehealth, etc.), providing technical assistance and administrative support, performing onsite visits and serving as liaison with the Center Research and Evaluation team. (40%)
Supports planning and coordination of non‑healthcare delivery projects, including scheduling, document action items, and working with evaluation teams to assess impact. (25%)
Creates topic‑specific surveys and other data collection tools (SurveyMonkey, REDCap, etc.), supports writing summary reports, and disseminates results to incorporate findings into Center programs. (15%)
Assists the administrative support team in reporting funded programs on Submittable and coordinates dissemination efforts via social media. (15%)
Performs other duties as assigned. (5%)
