Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Data Center Technician - Technical IT 1 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - Technical IT 1, you will be part of the Data Center Operations team supporting infrastructure management and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem‑solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

12‑hrs (Thu‑Sat) & (Wed‑Sat)
What's the Job?
Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission process
Run, label, and stage power and networking cables for removal (DBD removal only)
Follow procedures for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment under guidance
Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions and standard procedures
Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets to ensure accuracy and compliance
What's Needed?
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Flexibility to work non‑standard hours, including weekends and holidays
Ability to follow detailed procedures and work effectively in a team environment
