NOTE: This is a hybrid role requiring in‑person presence in Austin, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC.

In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and excellence. You will manage daily correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support informed decision‑making.
If you excel in dynamic, purpose‑driven settings—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy have a direct influence on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid role combines remote flexibility with consistent in‑person participation at admissions activities.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage and own the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face‑to‑face)
Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with outstanding attention to detail
Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, both on‑site and virtually
Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow‑up workflows with precision and currency
What You Won’t Be Doing
Shape admissions strategy or render final admissions determinations
Function in a purely administrative capacity with no direct family engagement
Work within a slow‑moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
Concentrate solely on relationship development without robust execution and follow‑through
Admissions Associate Key Responsibilities This position ensures that a frictionless, high‑conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction across Alpha's campuses.
Basic Requirements
Background in education, as a teacher, in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field
2+ years of customer‑facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or related roles
Strong administrative and organizational skills; you are highly reliable and detail‑oriented
High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM data
Comfortable balancing remote work with in‑person campus responsibilities
Able to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment
Authorized to work in the US and able to work in‑person in either Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA or NYC, NY
