In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial outreach through enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and excellence. You will manage day‑to‑day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep detailed applicant data that supports sound decision‑making.
If you excel in dynamic, purpose‑driven settings—where attentiveness, structure, and accuracy have a direct effect on family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity provides both remote flexibility and consistent in‑person participation at admissions activities.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage and respond to the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional correspondence with prospective families (both virtually and face‑to‑face).
Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with outstanding precision and care.
Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow visits, and community gatherings, whether on‑site or virtual.
Work in close partnership with Lead Guides to arrange student shadow day schedules.
Maintain admissions platforms, records, and follow‑up workflows with accuracy and consistency.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Shape admissions policy or render final acceptance decisions.
Function in a fully operational role without direct family engagement.
Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure.
Emphasize relationship development without rigorous execution and accountability.
Family Engagement Coordinator Key Responsibilities This position ensures that a smooth, high‑conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction throughout Alpha's campuses.
Basic Requirements
Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a closely related area.
2+ years of client‑facing experience in admissions, enrollment, event coordination, or similar capacities.
Solid administrative and organizational capabilities; dependable and meticulous.
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to maintain precise applicant records or CRM information.
At ease managing remote responsibilities alongside in‑person campus duties.
Capable of adjusting rapidly and succeeding in a fast‑moving, mission‑focused setting.
Authorized to work in the US and available to work on‑site in Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or NYC, NY.
