Family Engagement Coordinator – Alpha
Salary:
$75,000 per year USD (approx. $37.50 hourly)
Base Pay Range:
$37.50/hr – $37.50/hr
Location:
Hybrid – requires in‑person presence in Austin, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, or NYC. Remote tasks available.
Overview Alpha School is transforming the landscape of education by combining AI‑powered learning, mastery‑based advancement, and outstanding guides to help students explore passions while achieving exceptional academic results. The Family Engagement Coordinator guides each family's experience from initial contact through enrollment, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Alpha’s precision, authenticity, and high standards.
What You Will Be Doing
Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face‑to‑face).
Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with outstanding precision and care.
Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on campus or online.
Key Responsibilities
Shape overall admissions strategy or make final enrollment decisions.
Operate exclusively in a back‑office capacity without family‑facing responsibilities.
Prioritize relationship development without rigorous execution and accountability.
Basic Requirements
Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a comparable area.
2+ years in a client‑facing role within admissions, enrollment, events, or similar contexts.
Solid administrative and organizational capabilities; dependable and meticulous.
Sharp eye for detail and proven track record maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM systems.
Comfortable managing both remote tasks and in‑person campus duties.
Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a fast‑moving, mission‑focused environment.
Authorized to work in the US and available to work on‑site in Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; or NYC, NY.
Working With Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
