Maintenance Manager – Food Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of production equipment and facility systems.
Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and process improvements.
Manage departmental budgets and lead capital expenditure projects to support plant growth and modernization.
Champion safety, product quality, and efficiency through the implementation of best practices and compliance programs.
Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance staff, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
Utilize CMMS (preferably EMaint) to monitor, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, cost control, and schedule compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, electrical systems, HVAC, and building utilities.
Prepare reports, analyze operational data, and recommend solutions to enhance plant reliability and reduce downtime.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of maintenance personnel.
Maintain strong vendor relationships for equipment, parts, and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field.
HACCP or food safety certification preferred.
Proven leadership experience in maintenance management within a food manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on expertise with CMMS platforms (EMaint experience preferred).
Solid knowledge of PLCs, electrical systems, and automation technologies.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
Flexibility to respond to urgent issues and adapt to changing priorities.
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation Range:
$100,000-$130,000 + 10% Bonus
