Responsibilities

Process applications and payments for fees.

Analyze, certify and ensure documents follow Colorado statutes and policies, determine appropriate action for submitted documents, and review, process and verify documents are complete and accurate.

Receive and verify payments, record information into the DRIVES system, reconcile transactions and payments to the system, and deliver monies to the appropriate people.

Scan documents, verify scanned documents for accuracy and review for completeness.

Provide customer‑service oriented assistance to the general public and law enforcement or governmental agencies.

Assist with Windows Desktop and Microsoft Office applications, email, and other office equipment.

Qualifications Minimum qualifications:

Two (2) years of relevant experience in general clerical and/or call center work.

Experience providing exceptional customer service in a call center and/or online.

Data entry and daily use of computer systems, scanners, printers, copiers, and fax machines.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Apps, and related software.

Typing professional emails, letters, reports, memoranda, etc.

Reviewing and comparing data for accuracy and completeness; compiling routine reports.

Or a combination of related education (Business Administration, Accounting, Public Administration, Political Science, or similar) and the above experience equal to two (2) years.

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years working in a complex, high‑volume call center.

Experience handling sensitive information of a confidential nature.

Career progression in a general clerical and/or customer service position.

Residency Requirement : Applicants must be residents of the State of Colorado at the time of application.

Conditions of Employment

Public trust position with mandatory background investigation and reference check.

Compliance with Colorado Individual Income Tax (CIIT) requirements and pre‑employment evaluation of tax records.

Maintenance of a valid driver’s license and safe driving record for any designated fleet vehicle use.

Adherence to the Universal Driving Standards Policy and New Fleet Vehicle Policy.
