Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Plano, Texas

Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide direct support across K-12 school settings in the Plano, TX area. This role involves working collaboratively with Behavior Interventionists to assist students with Autism, intellectual, and emotional disturbances in primarily self-contained or life skills classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Deliver behavior support services to students exhibiting high levels of restraint needs and aggression Collaborate closely with assigned Behavior Interventionists and classroom teachers to implement behavior plans Rotate among 2-3 campuses weekly, providing flexible and adaptable support based on campus needs Assist in modeling appropriate behavioral strategies and interventions within classrooms Maintain consistent communication with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Qualifications: Current National Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Prior experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related behavioral challenges preferred Ability to manage and de-escalate behaviors presenting restraint or aggression Willingness to commute between multiple campuses and adapt to varied school environments Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaboration with educators and specialists Location and Schedule: Onsite positions supporting K-12 campuses in the Plano, TX region Full-time, 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences through specialized behavioral support.
