Company Description Wholistic Motus Physical Therapy is a boutique, private-practice outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic located in Fort Myers, Florida. We specialize in hands-on manual therapy to address movement dysfunction and pain, with expertise in spine and sacroiliac conditions, general orthopedics, and balance disorders. Growth & Expansion Wholistic Motus Physical Therapy is expanding and plans to open a second location in Babcock Ranch in the coming months. This position is based at our Fort Myers clinic, with the opportunity for interested clinicians to transition to the Babcock Ranch location once it opens, split time between locations, or remain primarily at the Fort Myers clinic. This flexibility allows for professional growth while maintaining continuity of care.

Job Overview: This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and delivering high-quality treatment to support recovery and long-term function. The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive home exercise and self-care instruction, document patient progress, and communicate with other healthcare professionals as appropriate. As the practice grows, there may be opportunities to support our upcoming Babcock Ranch location, based on interest and clinic needs.

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and self-motivated Physical Therapist who would thrive in a boutique practice setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, values clinical autonomy, and is committed to delivering highly personalized, one-on-one patient care. This role is well-suited for a clinician who takes ownership of patient outcomes and enjoys building meaningful therapeutic relationships in a quality-focused, non–volume-driven environment.

Duties: Evaluate patients’ medical history and perform physical therapy examinations to determine their condition and needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, medical history, and assessment findings. Implement manual therapy techniques, with training in John F. Barnes-style Myofascial Release, cranio-sacral techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other interventions to improve patient mobility, strength, and function. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment options, and home exercise programs. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications: Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist CPR certification Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Experience in orthopedic physical therapy and hands-on manual therapy interventions Training in John F. Barnes–style Myofascial Release or a similar myofascial treatment approach is preferred but not required; candidates without formal training who have a strong interest in pursuing this methodology are encouraged to indicate this Additional experience with dry needling, trigger point therapy, lymphedema management, or other advanced manual techniques is a plus Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals Interest in supporting future practice growth and potential multi-location care is a plus
