divh2SkillBridge Recruiter/h2pSOSi is seeking a SkillBridge Recruiter to join our recruiting team in Reston, VA for the first half of 2026. The SkillBridge Recruiter will work with a team of professionals in Talent Acquisition to learn and experience full lifecycle recruiting in a fast-paced, DoD and government contracting cleared environment. The ideal candidate must have a solid ability to multi-task, be organized, have a sense of urgency, and be forward-thinking. The selected candidate will gain experience sourcing passive and active candidates in the cleared arena. While this position will generally be hybrid, there will be an in-office element especially during the first few weeks of the internship./ppEssential Job Duties/pulliAccurately evaluate candidates based on core competencies and cultural fit./liliBuild effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of talent./liliManage the flow of employee referrals and candidates./liliCollaborate with hiring managers to determine position specifications, pre-screening questions, interview questions, and solve staffing challenges./liliCreatively source candidates through job boards, databases, cold calling, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative candidate sourcing strategies./liliPre-screen resumes, conducts initial interviews and evaluate candidates suitability for presentation to hiring managers./liliBuilds effective candidate networks and strong cross-functional relationships with Hiring Managers to support the needs of the business./liliSupports proposal preparation by recruiting key personnel, formatting resumes, and obtaining letters of commitment from contingent hires./liliConducts reference checks./liliMaintains recruiting documentation required for OFCCP compliance./liliContributes to special projects as required./liliPerforms other duties assigned by supervisor./li/ulpQualifications/ppMinimum Requirements/pulliBachelors degree; additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of education./liliYou may be eligible to participate in SkillBridge if you:/liulliHave 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service./liliObtain approval from your unit commander./liliAgree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate./li/ulliIn-scope DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance./liliExperience in Intel, IT, Logistics AND/OR Medical recruiting and other military roles./liliUnderstanding of government contract proposal activities./liliExperience in the government contracting industry./liliKnowledge of employment laws and hiring practices./liliAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment./liliAbility to multi-task and to organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment./liliStrong organizational skills and attention to detail./liliExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with large groups of prospective candidates./liliStrong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications and hands-on familiarity with various recruiting sources and tools./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliUnderstanding of DoD culture and organizational structure./liliUnderstanding of the security clearance process and how job seekers process through medical and mental requirements for positions overseas in austere environments./liliFamiliarization with military transition assistance programs and military base hiring events./liliPrevious experience as a military recruiter is helpful./liliAbility to travel for hiring events and/or other recruiting events such as Incumbent Capture./li/ulpAdditional Information/ppWork Environment/pulliHybrid remote/office working environment./liliFast paced, deadline-oriented environment./li/ulpWorking at SOSi/ppAll interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason./p/div
