Office Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented office assistant to join our team in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in maintaining smooth office operations by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and attentive environment.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize and scan documents to maintain accurate and accessible digital records.
- Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling.
- Support daily office operations by managing supplies and coordinating with vendors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
- Handle correspondence and distribute mail as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information.
- Assist in creating reports and presentations as required.
- Provide bilingual support in Spanish for communication and documentation when necessary.
- At least 1 year of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties, including answering inbound calls and managing a front desk.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle document scanning and digital filing systems.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
