Key Responsibilities

Coordinate catering with external suppliers and set up and pick up after meetings.

Order and pick up supplies from grocery stores and other supply sources.

Communicate effectively with customers to understand meeting and event needs.

Work with Facilities and Digital Services staff on space setup and A/V needs.

Collaborate with the General Manager’s office on meetings and events, and manage their office refreshment inventory.

Interact with the executive team as well as LCRA Board Members during meetings and events.

Qualifications

Six or more years of experience in meeting, event coordination, business services support, operations, or other relevant fields, including at least two years in meeting or event coordination.

A degree in event planning, hospitality administration, business, or a related field, with substitutions per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Driver’s license.

Desired Attributes

Experience in customer service related to the hospitality industry.

A bachelor’s degree in event planning and hospitality administration.

Experience working with external and internal stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
