At LCRA, we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Telecom Project Management team! You will be part of the team that leads with integrity to drive the successful execution of LCRA's capital project portfolio, which efficiently manages LCRA's resources. You will receive valuable technical on-the-job training, all while focusing on safety as one of our key values. Responsibilities
Promote teamwork within project teams. Represent the Telecom Project Management positively and with integrity.
Develop and monitor the project budget and schedules. Resolve conflicts between resource limitations and project schedules. Acquire buy-in from stakeholders regarding budget and schedule. Negotiate with stakeholders regarding any changes to project parameters.
Develop understanding of project objectives through discussions with stakeholders. Demonstrate understanding of the role and function of each team member and effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
Minimize project issues by identifying and managing project risks. Build, implement, and record mitigation and contingency strategies.
Qualifications
Nine or more years of experience in project controls, project management or work package management, including two or more years managing projects (including managing scope, schedule and budget) or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in project management, business, finance, economics, engineering, construction management, math, science, computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
