Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Field Technician to join our team. This position involves travel up to 70 miles from Lafayette for various job assignments. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or field testing and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Duties
Perform field testing and inspection on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Assist in collecting, recording, and analyzing data from field tests.
Operate and maintain testing equipment, company vehicle, and tools.
Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding field results and site conditions.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements/Skills
Prior experience in construction and/or field testing preferred.
ACI Field Level I Certification is a strong plus.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to complete a 30-hour training course provided by the company.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks on construction sites.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods as required by fieldwork.
