The
Finance Manager, Corporate (Technology, Finance & People)
is responsible for a wide range of financial planning and analysis activities, with a focus on business partnering with technology, finance and people stakeholders and driving continuous improvement and automation in reporting and insights.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A and will be able to deputise and support senior stakeholders when required.
Core Responsibilities
Work closely with the Technology, Finance & People Executives and leadership teams to provide accurate & insightful analysis
Be the conduit for Qantas finance ensuring Jetstar stakeholders understand impacts of QF recharges and projects
Prepare detailed business cases for technology, finance and people projects, support the Pitch Perfect process, and track performance versus budget
Identify risks & opportunities working with stakeholders on mitigating items to ensure we stay on track to targets
Work with department heads to provide regular, insightful analysis and challenge to ensure we track to forecast and deliver business objectives
Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities across manpower and supplier expenses
Own the overheads reporting to drive continuous transparency and awareness of the cost efficiency program
Support the Senior Manager FP&A to deliver all Jetstar and Qantas Group reporting requirements including month‑end close cycle, forecasts, cashflow, transformation and scorecards
Qualifications
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA / CPA)
Minimum seven years post‑graduate accounting experience
TM1 knowledge and exposure to Oracle Financials (desirable and/or working with financial systems)
Strong computer‑based skills (minimum Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A highly efficient and committed individual with a well‑developed ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong financial and problem‑solving skills, commercial acumen
Good communicator (oral and written) and proven ability to interact with senior management
Attention to detail, adaptability and ability to manage in a fast‑paced environment
Change agent committed to continuous improvement
Strong ability to influence, cross‑culturally, externally and internally and build relationships with stakeholders in multiple locations
