Your Opportunity We are looking for a
Line Maintenance Support Coordinator
to join our Cairns based Engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the management, coordination and serviceability of aircraft parts, tooling and engineering ground support equipment. Ensuring all parts and tooling are controlled, serviced and packed ready for delivery to service aircraft across our ports. You will also monitor the logistics and transport of equipment and action receipt and dispatch within nominated time frames.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining stock and MIS integrity through accurate data entry, compliant segregation, storage, and receipt inspection of aeronautical parts, consumables, tooling, and GSE.
Coordinating dispatch of items for repair, overhaul, and AOG servicing, including packaging for internal and external dispatch.
Supporting engineering supply initiatives aligned with business objectives.
Managing quarantine and unserviceable locations and performing inventory duties as required.
Ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods certification and safety/security regulations (NHVR COR, Known Consignor, airport security, EAR/ITAR).
Overseeing Tooling and GSE compliance, including inspection, traceability, and adherence to OEM and airworthiness standards.
Coordinating purchase, calibration, repair, servicing, and electrical test & tag of Tooling and GSE, while maintaining accurate MIS records for visibility.
Managing loans, transfers, and non‑compliant Tooling and GSE in accordance with Jetstar MOE.
Interpreting technical data, certificates, and supplier documentation, and retrieving technical information as needed.
Adhering to Jetstar Safety and Quality Management Systems for all tasks.
We’re looking for someone with:
Previous experience in aviation logistics (preferable)
Mechanical aptitude or a trade background (preferable)
Previous experience with the management of Inventory in a stores or warehouse environment
Highly self‑motivated positive attitude and focused
Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate and consolidate input from multiple areas and sources
Ability to prioritise work and perform multiple tasks under time constraints and be able to meet strict deadlines
Team player with an ability to work under supervision
Sound data entry skills and high attention to detail
Understanding of logistics planning, workflows and operational control
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
Current Drivers License and the ability to hold an Airside Drivers License
Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating shift roster
