ECORE Outdoor Surfacing Group is seeking a
Planning Systems Analyst
to optimize supply chain planning processes and support strategic decision‑making. This role will manage planning for four outdoor groups, oversee material demand planning for entire projects, extract and analyze data, and maintain strong communication with the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will also review contracts and collaborate across departments to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of supply chain planning activities, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling.
Manage material demand planning for all outdoor groups, ensuring accurate project requirements.
Extract and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights that improve planning strategies.
Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor planning performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory turnover.
Collaborate with Demand Planners to enhance forecast accuracy using historical data, market trends, and customer demand patterns.
Recommend strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce stockouts, and improve working capital efficiency.
Provide analytical support for production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and system enhancements.
Communicate daily with warehouse teams to align on material needs and project timelines.
Review contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy in planning requirements.
Support and lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (S&IOP) processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or data analytics.
Strong proficiency in planning and data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Epicor, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Strong communication skills for daily interaction with warehouse and cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and forecasting methodologies.
APICS CPIM, CSCP, or data analytics certification is a plus.
Remote, office setting
Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
