PRN Echocardiography Technologist
within our Radiology Department.

Job Summary: Perform all Echocardiography procedures to enable the Ultrasound Department to complete its work with the utmost efficiency and provide quality optimal care to patients. Produces images of the heart muscle and function by setting up ultrasound equipment; attaching electrodes to chest and equipment if needed; operating and adjusting equipment; recording cardiac data measurements as well as protecting and helping patients.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Position requires Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS registration or registry eligible.
At least two (2) years Echocardiography experience.
ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
Current BLS certification upon hire or BLS certification must be obtained during orientation period or at next available scheduled class. Throughout employment, current BLS certification must be maintained by renewal during renewal period or at next available scheduled class.
Current Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS certification must be renewed before the annual renewal date or during the renewal period. If Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS certification is not renewed by the renewal date, employee must apply for reinstatement with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS.
