American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position, requiring an active OH or compact license and strong PCU background.
Job Details
- Work in a 22-bed Progressive Care Unit caring for adult and geriatric surgical patients,
- Patient population includes burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries,
- Perform specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy,
- Uses Epic EMR for documentation and Pyxis for medication management,
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM,
- Weekend coverage required every other or third weekend,
- Floating within the hospital is required,
Job Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required,
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience with a similar patient population,
- Previous charge RN and teaching hospital experience preferred,
Additional Information
- Work collaboratively with IV/pharmacy, respiratory therapy, PT, social work, transport, and rapid response teams,
- No RTO (requested time off) will be accepted between 2/15/26 and 2/28/26,
- Supportive multidisciplinary services available on the unit,
- Every other/third weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled,
