Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Admission to the Illinois Bar
* 3+ years of commercial litigation experience
* Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and courtroom appearances
* Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
* Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively within a litigation team
* Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
* Experience with business torts, contract disputes, real estate litigation, or professional liability matters is a plus
Responsibilities
* Represent clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including contract litigation, business torts, and shareholder or partnership conflicts
* Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents
* Conduct and manage fact and expert discovery, including depositions
* Develop case strategy and provide risk assessments and legal guidance to clients
* Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
* Work closely with partners and associates on complex litigation matters
* Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and timely case management
