Job Description
Our team is partnering with a highly regarded law firm seeking a Litigation Attorney for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a long-term home with a collaborative, high-performing legal team.
Responsibilities:
* Handle all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
* Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents
* Manage depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
* Work directly with clients, providing strategic guidance and case updates
* Collaborate with partners and support staff to ensure timely and accurate case management
* Evaluate case strengths, risks, and settlement opportunities
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
* Active bar license in Georgia (in good standing)
* 2-5+ years of civil litigation experience preferred
* Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
* Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively
* Excellent communication and client-service orientation
