Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring an OH or compact RN license and at least two years of recent experience.

Job Details

- Float pool role in a Med/Surg Tele hospital setting,

- Shifts are 3x12 hours, days, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM,

- Weekly schedule consists of 36 hours,

- Must be available for both weekdays and some weekends, including holidays,

- Patient ratios typically 1:4-5,

- Required to float between units of equal or lower acuity as needed,

- Uses EPIC EHR system and telemetry monitoring equipment,

Job Requirements

- Active OH or compact RN license,

- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience required,

- Current BCLS certification,

- Proficiency in starting IVs and telemetry monitoring,

- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills,

- Experience using EPIC EHR system,

Additional Information

- Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients,

- Must be flexible and able to float within assigned units,

- Holiday coverage is expected per the unit's needs,

- No time off is allowed from February 15 through February 28, 2026,
