About Our Client
Our client is a well established General Contractor with an excellent reputation for delivery top quality commercial and multifamily projects.
Job Description
* Project Planning: Lead the preconstruction process from project inception to delivery, including initial assessments of project scope, feasibility, and budget.
* Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for commercial construction projects, utilizing historical data, materials pricing, and labor costs.
* Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects and engineers to assess project designs, identify potential challenges, and propose cost-effective solutions.
* Bid Management: Create and manage bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value for clients.
* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all preconstruction activities, effectively communicating with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
* Scheduling: Develop project timelines, milestones, and schedules to ensure timely completion of preconstruction activities.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise the preconstruction team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.

The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, specifically in commercial and multifamily construction.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Primavera, Procore).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
