Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $200,000 to $225,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee global accounting operations including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll, inventory, and financial reporting
* Manage external and internal financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
* Prepare and analyze 13-week cash flow forecasts and maintain lender and equity sponsor relationships
* Lead external audit and tax compliance processes and supervise payroll and tax service providers
* Collaborate with the CFO and FP&A to monitor loan agreements and support strategic financial decisions
Requirements:
* Understand written procedures and apply detailed notes to perform tasks consistently
* Demonstrate strong written communication skills in financial documentation and reporting
* Solve complex financial and operational issues using analytical and leadership skills
* Use ERP systems with intermediate proficiency, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
* Perform advanced accounting tasks with strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field
* Bring 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a director-level role
* Apply experience in manufacturing environments and preferably with PE-backed companies
* Prefer active CPA license and audit experience with a major public accounting firm
* Demonstrate experience with inventory and standard cost accounting, and international operations
