CGP: Accounts Payable and Payroll Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an AP and Payroll Accounting Supervisor to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $39.00 to $46.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
* Supervise daily operations for accounts payable and payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
* Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and payment transactions in compliance with company policies.
* Maintain accurate vendor and employee records, including contracts and payment terms.
* Lead and mentor staff, providing training, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
* Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, HR, and Operations to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of payroll and accounts payable procedures, including three-way matching principles.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and external partners.
* Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
* Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiency measures.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* A minimum of 6+ years of experience in payroll and accounts payable roles.
* Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
* Prior experience in office administration and handling audits or month-end closings.
* Self-motivated professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
