TowerLight Senior Living is located in historic St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Only 10 minutes from downtown Minneapolis, we are near public transportation and the crossroads of Highways 7 and 100. Our community offers 115 units of beautifully appointed Independent Living Apartments, innovative Assisted Living Apartments, state‑of‑the‑art Memory Care and Enhanced Care Suites (as well as an intergenerational day care). Our tenured team ensures a strong commitment to delivering high‑end comfort and the best senior care available for our residents.
We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team. This role is responsible for dining room meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Assisted Living Community in St. Louis Park, MN. We welcome students and retirees.
74 hours per two week pay period
Early evening shift
Every other weekend

Responsibilities Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
Follow proper procedures for dining room set‑up.
Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Less than 1 year experience
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma
1 year experience
