The Clinical Supervisor, NP/PA-C oversees daily operations at an occupational health clinic, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance within a shipyard environment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and manage work-related injuries and illnesses for employees.
Perform medical surveillance, physical exams, and case reviews for exposure programs such as asbestos, metals, toxins, and noise.
Supervise RNs and Clinical Technicians, providing clinical guidance, task delegation, staffing, and workflow management.
Offer training, coaching, and education to clinical staff on procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers on injury management, return-to-work, and fitness assessments.
Identify process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications Master’s degree in nursing, valid APN/PA-C licensure in Maine, minimum 5 years of clinical experience, and managerial skills. Occupational health experience is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits Full-time, Monday‑Friday. Salary range $115,000‑$130,000. Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
In‑person work includes participation in Sea Trials and navigating the shipyard environment.
Location: Portland, Maine Metropolitan Area.
