What We Offer The Care Associate provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living, comfort measures, and maintains a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

What We're Looking For
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Completion of Novant Health sponsored training program, required.
Life Support Responder (within 90 days of employment), required.
Completion of Novant Health Safety Attendant training, required.
Additional Skills (required):
Upon completion of the Novant Health sponsored training program, the Care Associate works within the guidelines of nursing and Novant Health policies and procedures.
Must exhibit strong communication skills; ability to write effectively; effective computer skills, and strong customer service skills.
Additional Skills (preferred):
Basic computer skills for documentation.
Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR) and Safety Attendant duties may be assigned as determined by unit leaders and unit needs.
