About The Position This position is primarily responsible for all material handling in staging, loading, and unloading finished product, maintaining warehouse inventory, and supplying production lines with the necessary material, parts, and packaging. Experience operating a forklift, reach truck, and other power equipment is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Properly operate and maintain forklift and reach truck.
Move raw and finished goods physically within the plant and handle associated material movement transactions in the Syteline system with RF scanner.
Ensure product identification on all parts and/or containers.
Supply and set up material for production.
Count and communicate inventory needs of material.
Maintain housekeeping in all material storage locations and assembly area.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper personal protective equipment.
Perform tasks with little to no supervision.
Attend pre‑shift meetings (safety, quality, material issues, other).
Communicate, monitor, enforce, and report issues related to safety regulations and company policies.
Complete forklift inspection and fill out forklift safety logs.
Walk all areas during the day and before the end of shift to ensure housekeeping/5S forms are complete.
Fill out any other required post‑shift paperwork.
Communicate hot parts or inventory discrepancies.
Communicate equipment safety concerns/issues.
Salary Salary:
$18.00 per hour
Schedule Schedule:
Morning
Requirements
Able to work overtime and weekends.
Intermediate computer skills.
Education and/or Experience
High school education or equivalent.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 1–2 years forklift experience.
RF scanner experience.
