Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented. Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job. Responsibilities
Possesses adequate knowledge of the products represented. Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner. Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product. Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives. Maintain a clean, sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals. Set up and prepare event tables for execution. Achieve 100% execution on assigned work. Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections. Build and maintain rapport with store personnel. Complete expense reports as per company policy. Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution. Access the internet, navigate company systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF). This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED; related experience or training preferred. Computer skills: Proficient PC and mobile device usage with applications and internal systems. Certificates: Local food handler permit may be required. Physical demands: Stand and walk during shift, handle and feel items, reach overhead up to 65 inches, lift and carry up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), push/pull wheeled cart, prepare food using appliances, contact cleaning supplies. Language: English primary; bilingual may be required. Other: No supervisory responsibilities. Work in retail store environment with limited travel. About Us
