Job Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

General duties for all store team members:

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Make and label boxes.

Training – orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills:

Comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills:

Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).

Make correct monetary change.

Take and process orders via verbal, written, and telephone means.

Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate movements.

Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

Exposure to:

Varying weather conditions during outside tasks.

Store temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher.

Sudden temperature changes.

Food fumes and cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters such as walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces and tools (up to 500°F).

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing:

Talk and hear on telephone.

Near and mid‑range vision for most tasks.

Depth perception.

Differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments:

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet strict quality standards, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Requirements:

Standing – majority of tasks performed from a standing position.

Walking – short distances for short durations.

Sitting – paperwork typically done at a desk or table.

Lifting – bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds (cases may weigh up to 50 lb). Handles cases, loading onto shelves up to 72 in high.

Carrying – large cans (~3 lb) to storage, heavy sauce (~30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb each).

Pushing – moving trays on dollies (~24–30 lb) requiring up to 7.5 lb of force.

Climbing – occasional stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, and perform maintenance.

Stooping/Bending – forward bending at pizza assembly, dunking bowls, and stocking. Duration about 30–45 s repeated continuously.

Crouching/Squatting – occasional at stock and low‑area cleaning.

Reaching – continuous; up, down, forward; up to 72 in for oven controls, price sign changes, shelving; down for scooping cornmeal, washing dishes; forward for toppings, cleaning, phone.

Hand Tasks – continuous eye‑hand coordination. Frequent use of hands, forearms, wrists, pizza peel, rolling cutter, and pinching during box assembly.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, and Work Aids:

Include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
