Raw Materials Assistant – Fashion Brand in NYC
Our client, a popular fashion brand in NYC, is looking for a
Raw Materials Assistant
to support their team on contract basis!
Responsibilities
Assist the Raw Materials team in organization and archival process for general Raw Material Library
Check in of any new material headers, skins and proto materials that ship to NY office
Assist in creating a seasonal archive of all materials adopted for SMS and bulk stages
Organize raw material archival library past seasons, arranging mill and tannery color cards, lab dips, strike off’s trials for all leather / fabric
Organize the trim and soft trim library, assists in creating the trim archive
Organize supplier color cards and color material masters
Assist team with set up and preparation for seasonal milestone meetings and material meetings
General team support for checking in packages, sending packages out and tracking
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field preferred.
1+ year of internship or entry-level experience in apparel production, sourcing, or materials management (preferred but not required).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PLM systems
