Residential Counselor Job Summary
The Residential Counselor is responsible for delivering therapeutic and treatment planning services to residents. Duties include facilitating group counseling using CBI’s approved curriculum, conducting regular individual sessions, and adhering to policies and regulations set by the Department of Behavioral Health Services, Regional Behavioral Health Authority, Office of Behavioral Health Licensure and the Code of Federal Regulations.
Skills / Requirements
Master’s Degree in a related field
Leadership experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in behavioral health, physical health or substance abuse
Associate or licensed professional (Psychologist, Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor) licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
