Assembler - 3rd Shift (Dept 05) Eaton

Earn $21.40 per hour with a $2.50 shift premium. Core hours are 10:30 pm–6:30 am; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Perform light and medium duty final assembly operations on overhead switchgear product line.

Execute complex sub‑assembly and final assembly tasks involving many parts and fitting/aligning components.

Follow established working procedures and standard procedures.

Set up workstation for efficient assembly; work independently or in a group.

Complete paperwork, enter labor, confirm production, and move products to outgoing zone.

Screen defective parts, make adjustments, and report concerns to Team Leader or Supervisor.

Interact with other departments for advice and decisions.

Assist QA/Engineering with problem‑solving for new product development.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing, military, or related experience.

Applicants will not be considered for immigration sponsorship.

No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of South Milwaukee.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Trades training or equivalent experience in soldering/brazing operations, electronic terminology, and electrical circuits.

Skills

Flexibility in work environment; perform multiple job functions.

Ability to read blueprints and drawings.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and applications such as SAP.

Ability to walk/stand for an 8‑hour shift with or without accommodations.

Ability to lift and push/pull 48 lbs with or without accommodations.
