Pay Rate:
$24.64 per hour
Responsibilities
Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures, ensuring no manipulation of student data.
Develop, implement, and coordinate alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention activities and integrate services into the Center’s programmatic functions.
Coordinate community resources to educate students on substance use and abuse.
Administer the Center’s drug testing program to promote a drug‑free environment.
Provide comprehensive individualized case management, ensuring student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program.
Establish supportive/mentoring relationships with students throughout enrollment and provide substance‑abuse counseling and education.
Counsel students individually and in groups on substance abuse.
Produce quality work and assignments in a thorough, timely, and accurate manner.
Maintain personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards.
Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.
Apply job knowledge to effectively complete all required responsibilities and proactively maintain required skills.
Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for actions and behavior.
Provide quality programs and services, ensuring student needs are met and pursuing improvement and enhancement of services.
Engage in clear and concise communication, identify problems, analyze causes, evaluate solutions, and follow up to ensure problem resolution.
Work in partnership with staff across departments to provide effective supervision and services to students.
Accept direction and supervision from leadership and perform duties of other departments as needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school (preferred).
Minimum one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field (required).
Valid, active, unrestricted in‑state license or certification in substance‑abuse counseling/prevention (required).
Regional approval required.
