Administrative Coordinator (Levels 1‑4) – Office of Workers Compensation
Louisiana Works is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join the Office of Workers’ Compensation Administration (OWCA). The OWCA oversees the enforcement and administration of workers’ compensation laws, supporting early return‑to‑work efforts, improving workplace safety, managing disputed claims, conducting hearings, reviewing medical treatment disputes, and investigating fraud through initiatives like the GAME ON task force.
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to ensure accurate case processing, effective communication with stakeholders, and efficient operation of the Medical Services Section.

Job Responsibilities
Receive and input Form 1009 cases into the JustWare system, ensuring accuracy and completeness before forwarding to medical staff. Cases may come via email, mail, or facsimile.
Receive and input Disputed Medical Reimbursement (DMR) cases and hospital reimbursement disputes, including outlier cases, into the JustWare system.
Prepare notices of receipt and filing, proofread for typographical errors prior to sending to involved parties.
Respond to phone calls and emails from stakeholders, providing information or referring to appropriate staff members.
Assist with incoming and outgoing mail for Medical Services, including preparation of certified mail.
Maintain confidentiality of information received via email, mail, and facsimile.
Scan files into the JustWare system, including 1009 submissions, disbursed medical reimbursement cases, outliers, fax confirmations, and envelopes.
Attend conferences and training sessions as directed by the Medical Director or supervisor.
