STAMPING INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

KTH Parts Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for an individual in our Stamping Equipment Support Group (ESG) working on second shift. Daily Tasks:
Responding to downtime calls to keep production running
Perform preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and checks
Daily reporting and tracking of equipment-related activities
Continuous improvement activities
Immediate response to the production floor needs
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED required
Technical certificate or diploma from a vocational school, company-sponsored training program, or 2-year degree in technical coursework or three plus years of experience in an industrial environment
Must be willing to work overtime
Ability to work off shift
Specific Skill Requirements:
Electrical/Mechanical Aptitude - must be capable of modification or repair of equipment
Working knowledge of PLCs while troubleshooting Electrical Circuits
Suggesting and implementing approved ideas that reduce potential downtime
Perform preventative maintenance and quality repairs/improvements on equipment while working with a team and independently
Overall experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical systems
Understanding of blueprints, pneumatic and electrical schematics
