Job Description Join Amcor as a
Machine Operator
and play a key role in producing high‑quality products that protect what is important. You will lead machine line operations, including changeovers, start‑ups, running, and shutdown, while prioritizing safety and compliance with specifications.
Schedule Shift: 12‑hour, 2‑2‑3 nights, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $20‑$22 /hour + $1.50 /hour night shift premium
Overtime: 1.5× pay for hours over 40 per week
401(k): Dollar‑for‑dollar match up to 8%

What You’ll Do
Lead all aspects of machine line operation, including changeovers, start‑ups, running, and shutdown.
Support operations in becoming world‑class, starting with safety.
Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, and print specification.
Work with and direct assistants to minimize job change‑over and downtime.
Train assistants to become efficient at all required duties.
Perform basic operator preventative maintenance on machines and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read, understand, and follow customer specifications
Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
Forklift experience (preferred)
Basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
Visual acuity to perform visual inspection, including use of measurement devices and the ability to identify and distinguish colors
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for long periods (steel‑toed shoes required)
Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching
